XN-9100 - powerful sample management for efficient processing

  • The Sorting and Archiving configuration is best suited to labs with a high workload during routine hours with low to medium complexity order profiles and sample workflow. It's also great for labs with archiving and/or sorting needs.
  • The XN-9100 consists of up to ten XN modules that you can tailor to your own laboratory needs. Sorting & Archiving is a flexible configuration. It consists of XN analysis modules, our SP-50 slide maker/stainer, the DI-60 digital imaging module and the TS-10 tube sorter at the end. It optimises workflows from cell counting via smear preparation to morphology analysis and sorts EDTA tubes intelligently as you need.
  • It can analyse both routine haematology testing and specialty samples depending on the clinical value applications on your analysis modules.
  • Samples that need a smear are processed automatically by the slide-maker/stainer, followed by digital imaging. Smears are of excellent quality and consistency - even with highly pathological samples - thanks to the use of an adaptive smear technique and RAL classic staining reagents,
  • Smears are only initiated if they offer additional diagnostic value – the analysis profile is extended automatically to include smear-making/staining and morphology analysis. You can also order it up front.
  • The tube sorter reduces turnaround time and manual sample handling significantly. After analysis, it rapidly delivers pre-sorted tubes for subsequent, dedicated work areas and tests such as HbA1c, erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR) or blood group testing.
  • To make best use of your space or when the available space is not enough for a linear set-up, alternative designs can be installed by using TU-40: Inner-L, Outer-L, Inner-U, Outer-U, Z

Integrated HbA1c analysis

With the HLC-723 G11 Analyser from Tosoh integrated in an XN-9100 configuration, you can process your HbA1c orders in a fully automated way, from a single EDTA tube in a single run together with routine haematology testing. You can optimise your workflow and, if needed, it supports you with your pre- and post-analytical tasks, since you no longer need to sort your EDTA tubes manually for HbA1c orders in the haematology work area. The possibility of using a single consolidated EDTA tube per patient helps to save manual work, costs and improves patient management. To multiply your HbA1c processing capacity, you can expand your set-up and integrate up to six G11 modules.

Integrated ESR analysis

With the Interrliner XN from RR Mechatronics integrated in an XN-9100 configuration, you can process your ESR orders with the gold standard Westergren method in a fully automated way, from a single EDTA tube in a single run together with routine haematology testing. You can significantly improve sample workflow, including – if needed – your pre- and post-analysis sorting tasks, as you no longer have to sort your EDTA tubes manually for ESR analysis. And since you use just a single consolidated EDTA tube per patient, you save on manual work, costs and improve your patient management. To triple your ESR processing capacity with significantly shorter turnaround times, you can expand your set-up and integrate up to three Interrliner modules.

Extended IPU

Extended IPU

The Extended IPU, as an integrated component of all XN-9100 configurations, controls the complete order management for the EDTA tubes. With rack management and tube registration, each individual EDTA tube is fully traceable. All EDTA tests can be performed from a single sample tube, which eliminates the need to retake blood from a patient.
