xSORT XHH04
On-site XRF analysis for metals, recycling, environment and more
- Results in 10 to 60 seconds.
- Comfortable one-handed use.
- Versatile with adjustable spot size.
- Easy logging, storage and sharing.
- Versions available for metal and non-metal analysis.
The xSORT XHH04 is a powerful handheld XRF analyzer enabling on-site spectrochemical analysis of metals and materials. Its speed, portability and flexibility make it ideal for a wide range of applications, from metal sorting and recycling to environmental testing and compliance control.
The xSORT XHH04 delivers outstanding performance: most elements are detected within seconds, and light alloys such as aluminum, magnesium or silicon in as little as 10 seconds.
Designed for long workdays in the field or on the shop floor, the device features a lightweight, well-balanced design. Its intuitive Android software and touchscreen allow for comfortable one-handed operation, even in tight spaces.
The xSORT XHH04 comes preloaded with factory methods for the most common metal applications. For more specific or unusual elements, on-site PC calibration is possible, ensuring maximum flexibility.
To support documentation and traceability, the device is equipped with GPS, camera and various connectivity options (WiFi, Bluetooth, USB, microSD) for easy result sharing and storage.
Optionally, the analyzer can be connected to a docking station with sample chamber, transforming it into a mini-laboratory ideal for small parts or high-volume testing.
The xSORT XHH04 is available in two versions: one optimized for metals and one for non-metals. Both models deliver the same reliability, speed and flexibility, and differ only in detector and calibration configuration.
Metal applications:
- Alloy identification (e.g. stainless steel, aluminum, copper, zinc and lead alloys)
- Metal sorting and recycling (e.g. scrap, electronics, automotive)
- Precious metals (e.g. gold karat determination, silver, platinum, palladium, jewelry, catalyst metals)
Non-metal applications:
- Compliance screening (e.g. RoHS/WEEE, electronics, plastics and polymers, coatings and lead-based paints)
- Environmental testing (e.g. soil and sediment analysis, glass and ceramics)
- Mining and geology (e.g. geological powders)
