Newsletter

On our website, users have the option to subscribe to our newsletter. We only send newsletters to recipients from whom we have received consent to receive the newsletter. It is necessary to provide us with an e-mail address for the subscription to our newsletter. If necessary, we collect additional data, for example, to provide our newsletter with a personal addressing header. Our newsletter is only sent after the so-called double opt-in procedure has been completed. If visitors to our website decide to subscribe to our newsletter, they will receive a confirmation e-mail, which serves to prevent the misuse of false e-mail addresses and to exclude the possibility that a simple, possibly accidental, click triggers the dispatch of the newsletter. The subscription to our newsletter can be terminated at any time for the future. An unsubscribe link (opt-out link) is included at the end of each newsletter. In addition, we are obliged to provide evidence that our subscribers actually wanted to receive the newsletter. For this purpose, we collect and store the IP address and the time of subscription and unsubscription. Our newsletters are designed in such a way that it is possible for us to gain insights into improvements, target groups or the reading behavior of our subscribers. This is enabled by usage of a so-called web beacon or tracking pixel, which reacts to interactions with the newsletter, for example, whether links are clicked, the newsletter is opened at all or at what time the newsletter is read. If we have been given separate consent for tracking in our newsletter (so-called tracking permission), we can draw conclusions about the behavior of usage of our newsletter subscribers. The tracking permission can be revoked separately without revoking the consent to receive the newsletter itself. Without granted tracking permission, we cannot draw any conclusions about the behavior of usage of individual subscribers.

YouTube

We make use of an account for a YouTube channel. YouTube is owned by Google Ireland Limited, based in Ireland, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5. We point out that you use this offered YouTube channel and its functions on your own responsibility. This applies in particular to the use of the "Discussion" function.

Information on what data is processed by Google and for what purposes can be found in Google's privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de&gl=de#infocollect. We have no influence on the type and scope of the data processed by Google, the type of processing and use or the transfer of this data to third parties. Nor does it have any effective means of control in this respect. By using Google, your personal data will be collected, transferred, stored, disclosed and used by Google, regardless of your residence in the United States, Ireland and any other country in which Google does business. There is a transfer to Google affiliates and other trusted companies or individuals who process it on Google's behalf. Google processes on the one hand your voluntarily entered data such as name and username, email address, telephone number. Google also processes the content that you create, upload or receive from others when using the services. This includes, for example, photos and videos that you save, documents and spreadsheets that you create and comments that you write on YouTube videos. On the other hand, Google also evaluates the content you share to determine what topics you are interested in, stores and processes confidential messages that you send directly to other users, and may determine your location based on GPS data, wireless network information or your IP address in order to send you advertising or other content. For analysis, Google may use analysis tools such as GoogleAnalytics. We have no influence on the use of such tools by Google and has not been informed about such potential use. If tools of this type are used by Google for the YouTube channel of Sysmex Nederland B.V. and Sysmex Belgium N.V., we have neither commissioned this nor supported it in any other way. The data obtained during the analysis is also not made available. Only the profiles of the subscribers can be viewed by Sysmex Nederland B.V. and Sysmex Belgium N.V. via their account. Moreover, we have no way to prevent or turn off the use of such tools on its YouTube channel. Google also receives information when you view content even if you have not created an account. This so-called "log data" may be the IP address, browser type, operating system, information about the website you visited previously and the pages you viewed, your location, your mobile carrier, the terminal device you use (including device ID and application ID), the search terms you used and cookie information. Options to limit the processing of your data are available in the general settings of your Google account. In addition to these tools, Google also offers privacy settings specific to YouTube. You can learn more about this in Google's guide to privacy in Google products: https://policies.google.com/technologies/product-privacy?hl=de&gl=de.

You can find more information on these points in Google's privacy policy under the term "Privacy settings": https://policies.google.com/privacy?hl=de&gl=de#infochoices.

Furthermore, you have the option of requesting information via the Google data protection form: https://support.google.com/policies/answer/9581826?visit_id=6370545323842%2099914-2421490167&hl=de&rd=2.

We also processes your data when you communicate with us via our YouTube channel. The legal basis for this processing is Article 6 (1) point (f) DSGVO. The recipient of the data is initially Google, where it may be passed on to third parties for Google's own purposes and under Google's responsibility. The recipient of publications is also the public, meaning potentially anyone. It is true that Sysmex Nederland B.V. and Sysmex Belgium N.V. themselves do not collect any data via its YouTube channel. Even via the integration of the YouTube videos of Sysmex Nederland B.V. and Sysmex Belgium N.V. on our website, the IP addresses of the site visitors would not be transmitted to Google Inc. However, the data you enter on YouTube, in particular your username and the content published under your account, will be processed by us insofar as we may respond to your publications under "Discussions". The data you freely publish and distribute on YouTube is thus included by us in our offer and made available to its followers.

Vimeo

On our site, we use videos from Vimeo to present our company and products. Since it is not always possible to host the videos locally on our server, we use the offer of Vimeo, a third-party provider. For technical reasons, the integration of Vimeo videos results in calls to the Vimeo servers. Data from your browser or your end device is transmitted to the Vimeo server. It is also transmitted which of our Internet pages you have visited. Therefore, we use plugins that allow Vimeo to collect data only after users have clicked on our banner and agreed to the data collection. This banner Plug-in allows a two-click solution on the page, so that users see a notice before the video is played, informing them that the video sends personal data such as the IP address to Vimeo when they click play. For the use of data from your browser or terminal device associated with the playing of a video, please refer to the provider's privacy policy. You can find further information on data processing and data protection by Vimeo at https://vimeo.com/privacy.10.
